Assignments allow your employees to get credit for an order, help ensure accurate labor cost calculations, and let your employees receive commissions for parts. Depending on how user roles and permissions are set up in your shop, some users in your shop may only be able to see orders in the workflow they are assigned to.
Assign Technicians
Find Assignments in the right-side panel of the estimate. Easily view how many assignments are still needed for this order. Select the current assignments to view or change labor item assignments.
Assign a Service Writer to the order, as well as Technicians for each labor item on the order. Choose different technicians for each service item or assign the entire order to the same technician.
After you select a technician(s), their name(s) will appear in the right-side panel as the assigned technician for that order.
You can also select Assign Technician directly next to the labor line item. Changes made this way will also reflect on the right-side panel.
