Enabling flat rates will auto-calculate labor costs based on the user’s hourly rate and the quoted hours on an estimate.
Assign a Flat Rate to a User
Select the Settings icon in the bottom left corner of your screen.
Select Users under the Account section on the left-hand side.
Select the user’s name in the list to edit user info and turn on the flat rate setting.
Select Rates & Commission. In order to turn the Flat Rate setting on, the user must have an Hourly Rate assigned. Toggle on Flat Rate. Select Save.
Add a Flat Rate to a Labor Item
When you assign a technician to a labor item, their labor cost will be auto-calculated on the estimate. Select the labor line item in an estimate to view labor cost information.
