Create a New Service

Within an estimate, select +New Service.

Add a new service to an estimate

Enter your service title.

Title the new service

Add line items to the service, including labor, service fees, parts, tires, subcontracts, discounts, and additional fees.

Add line items to your service

You may choose to set the service as recommended, show as a lump sum, or hide the service from the customer. Select the … ellipsis on the top right of the service. Select Lump Sum, Set as Recommended, and/or Hide from Customer.

Set a service as recommended, show up as a lump sum, or hide from customer on the estimate
  • Set as Recommended: Recommended Services will not be included in the estimate total by default, but they will be added to the total if your customer authorizes them.

  • Lump Sum: With Lump Sum on, the customer will only see the service’s total amount. Individual line items of that service like labor, parts, tires, subcontracts, and fees will be hidden. Only the total of the line items will be displayed.

  • Hide from Customer: Hiding the service from the customer will keep the service on the estimate from the shop's view, but it will exclude it from the estimate total and hide it from the customer view of the estimate and invoice.

Save as a Canned Service

Services can be saved as canned services for easy reuse in the future. This will save you time when creating estimates for services or packages you sell frequently. Select the … ellipsis on the top right of the service. Select Save as Canned Service from the dropdown menu.

Check out Create a Canned Service to learn more about adding canned services to an estimate.

Remove a Service

Within an estimate, find the service you’d like to remove. Click the … ellipsis on the top right of the service. Select Remove from the dropdown menu.
