Add Fees to an Order

Add fees to an estimate or invoice to cover additional expenses, including shipping, processing, recycling, and more

Fees can be customized for when you need to itemize additional charges on an invoice such as a credit card processing fee, a tire recycling fee, or perhaps a hazardous waste disposal fee.

Add a Fee Line Item

Once you add a service to an estimate, select Fee from the line item types on a service.

Give the fee a name and add a tag to your fee.

Enter Fee Information

Select the fee line item to open the Enter Fee Information menu on the right-side panel to edit the fee name, add tags, and select which line item category you’d like to add it to for future use.

Select if the fee should be charged as Percent (%) of Line Item, Percent (%) of Service, or Fixed Dollar ($) amount. Depending on what you choose, select the line item to apply the fee to, the fee percentage, and/or the fee amount.

  • Percent (%) of Line Item: Use this to calculate the fee cost based on a percentage of a specific line item’s subtotal. In the “Line Item to Apply Fee” field, select which line item you’d like to apply the fee to.

  • Percent (%) of Service: Use this to calculate the fee cost as a percent of the service it was added to

  • Fixed Dollar ($) amount: Use this option to enter a flat dollar amount as the fee cost
