Preferred Contact Method

For each customer, you’ll be able to set up their preferred contact method, whether it’s text messages, emails, or both. To set their preferred contact method go to their customer information and select SMS, Email, or Both. With the preferred contact method set, any new message will use that selection. So if SMS is selected as the preferred method, a new message will default with SMS enabled and Email disabled. You’ll always have the option to change the contact method for the message, but the default will always start with the preferred method. Note: The Preferred Contact Method can only be changed from the customer information.

Primary Phone Number and Email

Set a primary phone number or email for your customers with multiple opinions on file. If your customer only has one phone number or one email, that will be the primary contact information for them. To set their primary phone number or email, go to their customer information. You’ll notice a star for the current primary contact information. To change it, hover over the empty star on any phone number or email address and click it to make that phone number or email the primary. Any new message will use the primary phone number or email address. You’ll always have the option to select a new phone number or email for a message, but the default will always be the primary one. Note: The primary phone number and email address can only be changed from the customer information.
