Maintenance Schedules are available to all Genius level subscriptions and above. With Shopmonkey’s integration with Motor, you can see the relevant services and inspection services for the vehicles that come into your shop. If you’re not a Genius subscriber, but you’re interested in Maintenance Schedules, you can chat with our Success team to see if upgrading would be a good fit for your shop.
Maintenance Schedules will recommend services that can be performed on vehicles and also inspection services with the inspection description and labor times. To create and add digital inspections go to the Inspections Tab. For more information on inspections, check out our help article.
On Orders
When you have a linked vehicle, Shopmonkey will use that vehicle's information to display the services and inspection services recommended based on the Maintenance Schedule. Shopmonkey will show you the recommendations based on mileage if available and then based on time if also available. If both mileage and time aren’t available then, nothing will be automatically recommended on the order. Even if there is an indicator-based service for the vehicle, no results will be displayed automatically without mileage or time.
You can add all of the recommended services and inspection services by clicking the Add All button in each section or clicking on the name of the services or inspection services to view their details. Click See Details to open the Maintenance Schedule for the vehicle. For more information on linking vehicles and Motor’s connection with Shopmonkey, check out our help article.
Maintenance Schedule
Depending on the vehicle, the Maintenance Schedule will have tabs for Mileage, Time, and Indicator. These tabs will show based on the information provided by the manufacturers. Some vehicles will have all three tabs available, and others will have only one. Each tab will display services and inspection services that can be added to an order. You can view the list of services and inspection services by group just by clicking the Group by Category toggle in the top right. The list will be grouped by categories like body & frame, brakes, electrical, etc.
Mileage
Mileage will show the services for the set mileage intervals for that vehicle. Shopmonkey will use the Mileage In to determine the appropriate services to show. You can update the mileage from this screen by clicking Add or clicking the current mileage. You can also set the Driving Conditions of the vehicle. Based on the manufacturers' definition of the Driving Conditions, the list will show additional services or more frequent schedules.
Time
Time will show the services for the set time intervals in months for that vehicle. Shopmonkey will use the year of the vehicle to determine the appropriate services to show.
Indicator
Indicator will show the services based on the indicator lights for that vehicle. Shopmonkey will use any indicator available for the vehicle to determine the appropriate services to show.
