Shopmonkey Payments: Security Notifications

Receive security alerts and notifications when changes are made to payment information in your shop

It’s important to be informed when any payment information has been changed in your shop. Receive security notifications via email, in-app, and SMS for the following changes:

  • Changes made to the payouts account

  • When ACH features are enabled or disabled

  • When Buy-Now, Pay-Over-Time or Flexible Payment features are enabled or disabled

User Permissions to Receive Security Notifications

Shopmonkey users with access to settings (typically shop admins) can navigate to a user’s shop notifications settings.

Select the Settings icon in the bottom left corner of your screen.

Select Users under the Account section on the left-hand side.

Select the user that you’d like to edit the Security Notification settings for. At the bottom of the Shop Notifications tab will be a Security section.

Please Note: If you do not see the Security section on a particular user, this user may not have access to Payments in the shop. Changes to the user’s User Role may be necessary. Check out our help article User Roles & Permissions to learn more.

Shop users with Payments access are required to receive notifications via Email and In-App for the following:

  • Payouts account updated

  • ACH Payments enabled or disabled

  • Buy Now, Pay-Over-Time or Flexible Payments enabled or disabled

Users can also edit their User Notifications to receive these alerts via SMS.
