Process in-person and online card payments using a Shopmonkey Payments Sunmi P2 card reader. The Sunmi P2 card reader allows customers to pay via chip and swipe cards, such as VISA and Mastercard, along with contactless payment methods such as Apple Pay, all facilitated within Shopmonkey for a smart, simple, and integrated solution.

Order the Sunmi P2 Card Reader
Select the Settings icon in the bottom left corner of your screen. Select Payments under the Settings section on the left-hand side.
Select the Readers tab on the Payments page.
Select Order More.
Review the details of the card reader. Enter your shipping details. Select Place Order.
Sunmi P2 Card Reader Set-Up
Please Note: You must have access to your internet router in order to set up the card reader.
Turn on your Sunmi P2 card reader. Once you boot up your device, you will see the home screen.
Scroll up from the bottom of the screen to locate the Payment App. Open up the Payment App.
You will see the Activate Your Device screen in the Payment App.
Head over to Shopmonkey to activate and register your reader.
Connect the Sunmi P2 Card Reader to Shopmonkey
Your reader must be connected to Shopmonkey before it can be used in your shop. To connect a card reader to your shop, please go back to the Payments settings page. Select the Readers tab.
Select Register a Reader.
Please Note: The reader must be on and connected to the internet to register the reader.
Give your reader a name and enter your reader's Serial Number.
Follow these steps to get the Serial Number:
Make sure the reader is on and connected to the internet.
Locate the Serial Number on the back of the reader near the bottom.
Enter the Serial Number in Shopmonkey and select Activate. Once you see that your reader is connected to Shopmonkey, the Payment App screen on your Sunmi P2 reader will look like this.
When you see this Welcome screen in the Payment App on your reader, your reader is ready to take in-person payments at your shop.
