Please Note: This help article is for the 2.0 version of Shopmonkey for Techs iOS and Android mobile apps. You can visit the App Store or Google Play to download on your compatible device. A Shopmonkey 2.0 subscription is required to use this app.
Time Clocks
With the Shopmonkey for Techs App, you can track your time just like you do on the Shopmonkey web app. From the mobile app, you’ll be able to clock in, switch to different activities, and clock out.
Access Time Clocks on Mobile
In order for you to track your time from the mobile app, your shop Admin will need to make sure that Time Tracking on Mobile is enabled on the permissions for your user role. Check out our help article User Roles & Permissions to learn more.
Please Note: Your Admin may also require Location Sharing in order to use time tracking on mobile. If this is the case, you will be prompted to allow the mobile app to enable location services.
Clocking In on Mobile
On the Dashboard, you will see your clocked time for the week in green, and in gray you will see your clocked time for invoiced orders this week.
Select Clock In to begin tracking time. Select if you’d like this logged to General shop time or select a specific order to clock time to.
You can also clock in directly from an order on the mobile app. Simply open the order and select Clock In.
To switch your clocked time between general, orders, or services, select the Stop icon and select Switch. Choose which activity you’d like to switch your clocked time to, then select Clock In.
View Time Log
Select the user icon in the top left corner and select Time Log to view your time clock entries.
