Logging In

Everyone will receive an email that looks like this:

Tip: If you think it has been sent, but it doesn’t show up, first check the spam/junk email folder.

From the email, click on the Join Shopmonkey link.

Create a password. Then click Create.

Sign in with your email and the password you just created.

You’re in!

User Info

In Shopmonkey, you’ll see your name and shop name in the top right. If you click on that you’ll see some options:

In Personal Info, you’ll be able to update your information and Phone number. If your shop has your commissions setup, at the bottom you’ll be able to see your commission rates.

In Notifications, you’ll be able to see when you’ll get notifications and choose how you receive them. Most will just get notifications when you’re assigned to a new service.

If you want text message notifications just check the box, keep the box checked if you want to get emails telling you of the new assignment, and with In-app checked it will show in the bell icon.

Password lets you reset your password, and up here is where you can Logout. So if you’re sharing computer stations you can log out when you’re done.

The Workflow allows you to access and view all of your estimates and invoices at a quick glance:

Technician View

See services and inspections that need to be done, clock in, and view vehicle specs from the Technician view:

Time Clocks

Time Clocks allow your employees to track time on specific services, as well as generally for hours they are working at the shop:

Inspections

Inspections are checklists for vehicle inspections that include statuses and notes/recommendations.

Diagrams & Procedures gives you the ability to view comprehensive technical specifications for various operations of the vehicle you are servicing.

Chat Icon

The chat icon in the bottom right too is how you reach our support team. Your shop Admin should be your first point of contact for troubleshooting and shop specific questions. If you’re noticing issues, getting error messages, or just stuck you can use the chat icon to get in touch with our support team. You can also get updates on new features, and find Help Articles from here:
