How do I perform a hard refresh on my browser?

Clear your browser’s cache for a fresh start

Clearing a browser’s cache is often all you need to do to resolve issues such as longer load times or if items on your screen look a little off compared to how they used to. If you are ever experiencing odd behavior like this while using Shopmonkey, try clearing your cache.


Hard Refresh

Follow the steps below (for your device) if you’d like to clear your cache.

PC

While viewing the browser tab displaying Shopmonkey, on your keyboard, try pressing:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+F5

  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+R

  • Safari: Ctrl+F5


Mac

While viewing the browser tab displaying Shopmonkey, on your keyboard, try pressing:

  • Chrome: Cmd(⌘)+Shift+R

  • Firefox: Cmd(⌘)+Shift+R

  • Safari: Cmd(⌘)+Option+R


Android Mobile Device (Chrome)

Go to the phone's Settings.

Select Apps & Notifications.

Select Chrome.
Select Storage & Cache.

Select Clear Cache.

iPhone/iPad (Safari)

Go to the phone's Settings.

Select Safari from the settings page.

Select Clear History and Website Data. If you do not want to clear your History, select “Advanced” → “Website Data” → “Remove All Website Data”.

4. Confirm Clear History and Website Data.
