Shopmonkey is accessed via web browser, it's crucial that the browser you use is supported by Shopmonkey. Likewise, it's important that the browser and device you use is up-to-date and on the latest version.
There are three supported browsers when using Shopmonkey:
Chrome by Google (download here)
Firefox by Mozilla (download here)
Safari by Apple (included with any Apple device)
Shopmonkey is designed to work seamlessly with the most recent stable versions of the web browsers listed above. Please ensure that you are using one of these supported browsers. All other browsers are unsupported at this time.
Keeping Browser Versions Up-To-Date
It's a best practice to consistently keep your browser up to date. If you want to make sure your browser is updated to the most current version, or want to manually perform an update, please follow the steps below:
Click the three dots button at the top-right of the browser, then click Settings:
From the Settings page, click About Chrome, located at the bottom of the left-hand options. You will see what version your Chrome is on, and also be allowed to update if there is a new version available.
Click the Menu button at the upper-right corner of the browser, then click Preferences:
From here, scroll down until you see the Firefox Updates section. You can verify your browser version and update if needed:
For Mac computers, the Safari web browser is installed and updated as part of macOS. To verify the macOS version, open the System Preferences application:
Then click on Software Update. From here, you can update your macOS if applicable:
Depending on the age of your device and/or operating system, certain browsers will eventually stop providing updates, effectively rendering the device obsolete in regards to browser compatibility.
If you suspect this may be the case, please perform an internet search to verify whether or not your device and/or operating system is supported by the latest version of your browser.
Hard Refresh (Clearing Cache)
If things seem to be acting funny while using Shopmonkey - such as things not loading properly, or perhaps not being able to click on something you were able to click on previously - you may need to perform a hard refresh to clear your browser's cache.
