Check Your Web Browser

For a smooth Shopmonkey experience, make sure that you:

  • Use a supported browser

  • Keep your browser version up-to-date

  • Check system requirements

  • Clear your cache

Use a Supported Browser

It’s important that you use one of the web browsers supported by Shopmonkey and that the device you use is updated and running on its latest version. Please ensure that you use one of these supported browsers for a seamless Shopmonkey experience, as all other browsers are unsupported at this time.

Keep Your Browser Version Up-To-Date

Check that your internet browser is updated to the most current version.

Follow the steps below (for your device) to check for or perform an update.

Chrome

Select the three dots at the top-right of the browser window. Select Settings.

Select settings from the Chrome browser menu

From the settings page, select About Chrome, located at the bottom of the left-hand navigation bar. Here, you can view what version your Chrome browser is currently using, and you’ll also be able to update if there is a new version available.

Firefox

Select the menu icon at the top-right of the browser window. Select Preferences.

Select preferences from the browser menu

Scroll down until you find the Firefox Updates section. Here, you can view what version your Firefox browser is currently using, and you’ll also be able to update if there is a new version available.

System Requirements

Depending on the age of your device and/or operating system, certain browsers will eventually stop providing updates, effectively rendering the device obsolete in regards to browser compatibility.

If you suspect this may be the case, please perform an internet search to verify whether or not your device and/or operating system is supported by the latest version of your browser.

Hard Refresh (Clearing Cache)

Clearing a browser’s cache is often all you need to do to resolve issues such as longer load times or if items on your screen look a little off compared to how they used to. Check out our help article How do I perform a hard refresh on my browser? to learn more about clearing your cache.
