Create and send targeted email campaigns and promotions to your customers with the Campaigns tool

Campaigns

Campaigns help you customize and send communications to your customers to increase appointments in your shop.

Select the Marketing icon on the left-side navigation bar. Select Campaigns.

Select the + New Campaign button.

There are two types of campaigns you can create: Automated and One-Time. Select your Campaign Type and your Campaign Method.

Automated Campaigns

Create a campaign that can send messages automatically to your customers.

Build an Automated Campaign

Create different types of automated campaigns to boost appointments in your shop.

  • Use the Canned Service Reminder to remind customers about common recurring canned services in your shop (e.g. Oil Changes)

  • Use the Deferred Service Reminder to target customers who have previously declined services on past invoices

For this automated campaign example, we will build a Canned Service Reminder.

When building an automated campaign, select your settings and customize the message on the right side of the menu.

Customize your campaign options:

  • Campaign Title: Give your campaign a name

  • Canned Service Reminder: Select the parameters of your campaign including the specific canned service this campaign is targeting and the time frame after that invoice was fully paid that the automated reminder will be sent

    • For a Deferred Service Reminder automated campaign, this is where you will select your automation rules

  • Subject Line: Add a subject line to grab customer’s attention and let them know what your message is about

  • Message: This is the body text of your campaign

  • Button: Include a button in your campaign to direct customers to a specific webpage (e.g. a booking page to schedule their appointment)

  • Button Text: This is the text that will appear on the button

  • Button URL: The URL the customer will be directed to when selecting the button

One-Time Campaigns

Set up a one-time campaign to send a non-recurring message to all customers or a specific set of customers.

Build a One-Time Campaign

When building a one-time campaign, select your campaign options and customize the message.

Customize your campaign options:

  • Campaign Title: Give your campaign a name

  • Message: This is the body text of your campaign. Add this directly in the preview on the left side of the menu

  • Button: Toggle on to include a button to a direct URL (e.g. website, appointment scheduler, etc.)

One-Time Campaign Custom Audience

Choose a specific set of customers to receive the promotional email or company announcement. Select Create Custom Audience.

Select the dropdown to create a filter for the custom audience. Complete any additional information for that filter.

The number of customers included in that filter will show in the top right corner of the audience section. Select View to see customer names and emails on that list.

Select + Add to include additional filters.

Audience filters include:

  • Customer Address

  • Customer Spend - All Time

  • Customer Spend - Average (per invoice)

  • Last Invoice Date

  • Number of Paid Invoices

  • Vehicle

  • Vehicle Mileage (km)

  • Vehicle Mileage (mi)

  • Vehicle Year

Manage Campaigns

Select the Automated or One-Time tab to manage that type of campaign.

View all previous campaigns, when they were last sent, their current status, and the send method.

Campaign Statistics

View the impact of your campaigns at the top of the campaigns page.
