Connect Shopmonkey to your QuickBooks Desktop account through Accounting Link to streamline your accounting process

QuickBooks Desktop Integration in Partnership with The Back Office

Shopmonkey's QuickBooks Desktop integration partners with The Back Office to streamline your accounting process. The Back Office has software called Accounting Link that allows you to transfer your Shopmonkey data to your QuickBooks Desktop account.

How does it work?

Shopmonkey pushes your financial info to Accounting Link in real-time. Accounting Link maps transactions to your selected QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) accounts and allows you to approve all transactions before sending them and posting them to QBD. Your accountant has full control over which Shopmonkey data to send to your QBD account.

Integration Set-Up Steps

Follow these steps to successfully integrate your QuickBooks Desktop account with Shopmonkey in partnership with The Back Office.

  1. Initiate the integration from Settings -> QuickBooks in Shopmonkey

    1. Please Note: The user initiating the integration in Shopmonkey must have a phone number saved to their user profile to schedule a call with The Back Office

  2. The Back Office will contact you to set up and configure Accounting Link

  3. Work with The Back Office team to select what data you would like Accounting Link to send to QBD

  4. Finish the Accounting Link implementation. Shopmonkey will automatically send data to Accounting Link

Please Note: There are additional integration fees to use this service. When you initiate the application, you will be able to review and accept pricing.

Connect to QuickBooks

Select the Settings icon in the bottom left corner of your screen.

Select QuickBooks under the Integrations section on the left-hand side.

Select Enable in the QuickBooks Desktop section.

Follow The Back Office’s steps to create an Accounting Link account and connect your Accounting Link and QBD account.
