The following information will walk you through the setup process of connecting your Shopmonkey account with Nexpart, and will explain how parts can be searched for and ordered directly from Shopmonkey.

If you do not have Nexpart account credentials at this time, you will need to set up an account before continuing. You can obtain a username and password from your parts distributor or sign up for an account at nexpart.com.

The instructions will show the Nexpart Multi-seller account but you can also use a single seller account when procuring parts with Shopmonkey.

Setting up a free Nexpart account

Sign up here to create a free Nexpart Multi-seller account. The registration only takes a few minutes.

Selecting your Parts Suppliers

You must select suppliers before you will be able to buy parts with Nexpart.

The search for suppliers will be within a radius around your shop. From the Find/Refer Seller tab type in your shop address. Choose any applicable supplier by clicking on the + Add button.

This will prompt you for your corresponding account information to confirm orders through this supplier:

You can find your sellers on your dashboard. From here you’ll be able to view the seller's details, contact the sellers, and more.

Connecting Shopmonkey with Nexpart

After obtaining your username and password from your parts supplier, enter your account credentials in Shopmonkey by navigating to the
Settings > Parts Procurement page:

Then click Connect to connect your accounts to Shopmonkey:

  • Username - The account username.

  • Password - The account password.

  • Nickname - Any name to recognize the account. If this is a single-seller account the nickname could be the seller's name. If this is a Multi-Seller account the nickname could be Multi-Seller.

Once you have entered your information, click Connect to complete the integration. You are now ready to start procuring parts within the context of your Shopmonkey estimates.

Procuring Parts for an Estimate

When viewing the details of a given estimate, you will see the Parts Procurement tab as an option. Click on this tab, and then click Go to Nexpart to start the part ordering process:

Next, search for the parts you'd like to order for the selected vehicle. If you’re showing parts to your customer you can hide your prices so the customer will only see the retail price.

To add items to your cart, click the "add to cart" button located to the far-right of each item.

When you're ready to check out, click on the cart icon at the top-right of the page. To add the parts to your Shopmonkey estimate, click on Return to Shopmonkey.

This will take you back to the Shopmonkey Parts Procurement tab, where you'll see your parts displayed.

Ready to place order

Once your parts are added to your Parts Procurement tab, you can click Modify Order if any changes are necessary or if you would like to add additional parts, Check Availability to confirm that the parts are still available, and Place Order when ready to purchase.

Note that the submitted parts are by default associated with the first service on the estimate. You can drag and drop a part from one service to another within the estimate, or you can change the service association right from the Parts Procurement tab, which reflects back on the Estimate > Services tab.
